Under the Sun

C’mon! 32 years has passed since I was born on planet Earth. During such age, I was -and still- wandering in wonderland of human nature, trying to figure out what is going on in order to understand better and thus fulfilling a very basic need of mine; the knowledge need.

Under the SunOkay! It’s normal and important that everybody is running to seize his/her own chance for taking a place under the sun, but the question is simply what about the way to get it?

It’s very easy to take the illegal short-cuts in order to achieve whatever, something that seems fruitful on the short run, especially if the person convinced himself/herself that this is the right way since others do this, but is it true on the long run?

Unfortunately No! What really happen is not convincing; rather it is deceiving the self in the first place. Such way might lead not only to destroying person’s life but also others’ too!

In my opinion, we are supposed to have our own balance with the context surrounding us, either the physiological environment or the psychological one. Such balance occurs when we are acting in the right way both with the omnipotent universal power Allah (GOD) and people. Such harmony creates the balance which we need in order to bear living in this life.

On the other hand, in case of acting wrong, or taking the illegal ways to achieve things, we are sadly destroying such balance. In other words, this simply means that the absence of harmony paves the way for catastrophic problems to exist not merely for us but mainly for others too since we are living in a community.

No body can claim that problems will completely disappear if the balance occurs; Nah! Everybody has his/her personal problems but there are normal problems that can be solved and other ones that are catastrophic and the last always occurs by our own hands.

Now a day, the call for virtues seems a silly one for some people, and for other some, it’s a legacy thing to be placed in museums, but actually it is not! It’s the core of healthy human interaction if anybody still cares about this.

As I always say, Utopia; doesn’t -and will not- exist on planet Earth, however since we live life once, it’s worthy to take care about, especially when it paves the path to the eternal life in the hereafter.

How funny; isn’t wrong to stay under the sun for a long time without any protection? I already mentioned the sun block here!

  1. EXCELLENT Image, for all persons

  2. Hmmm… you have your point. Being good and bad is a balance that normally comes to people. Nice pic you’ve got… I feel in love with it.

  3. Hello, my Pharaonic friend.

I believe you are talking about karma, the rebounding energy that says if you give out the bad, you will receive the bad in return. It is not always a direct retaliation, which is why people do not notice.

But it happens all the time: you do wrong here and other things in your life start going terribly wrong.

Lovely blog and glad to see that, like me, you are also on Afrigator!

  4. Yes Denford, and furthermore the closer you are to a perfected being, the sooner your karma is tangibly experienced.

  5. I don’t know if I agree with everything in your post, but you have definitely given me something to think about.

  6. First of all I feel your blog is better than before!

I have came cross this post before but for some reason I couldn’t comment!

juts want to tell you that I passed this age before, and nothing special happened, I am still the same Hisham :)

Stay a way from the short cuts you have talked about in your post, I still believe on hard work :)

  7. Superior Person, Nice Post

  8. Being someone who does what is right, not what is easy or convenient, will always be the right way to live.

  9. I don’t know why, but while i was reading the post i kept recalling the meaning of one of our prophet’s sayings, if you tend to find agreement and love from your fellow humans and disobey your creator, then you lose it all, but when you put Allah’s approval on your actions up sight “doing the right things with no short cuts” even if this will drive people away, eventually you will win it all. Allah’s love, blessings and mercy, and he will turn people’s hearts towards you.

It might not be related awy, but it always made a difference with me when i recall it.
