Touched by an Angel
Assalam Alaikum wa rahmat Allah.
Peace be upon you dear visitor.
Have you ever been touched by an angel? Actually, I think I did

Touched by an Angel: Child Story
Let us put personal and global problems aside in this post as I want to take you with me in this special journey. What I am going to tell you a true story that happened with me couple of day ago, but before starting, I kindly ask you to read it carefully and this can be achieved when you disconnect from anything/everything you are thinking about now – whatever it is – in order to get all the values I found in this true story.
Disconnected? Well, re-connect with me, Ready, Steady and GO [
]
The story
Once upon a time not far from today, I was returning back home from my work as I do every day. My work is located outside city where I live in, therefore I used to travel every morning and went back home every night via public transportation.
The distance is somehow long between my home and my work, so during this daily trip I used to listen to the “good-bye” that Sun whispers her younger sister Earth with, before leaving the space for their middle brother, the Moon, in order to say his own “hello” as usual. While I was sitting listening to these whispers, thinking about many things as usual, I saw something which makes me stop what I was doing on the short run, and made me think twice in many things on the long run, later after this situation end.
So what happened? I saw two couples, man + woman who were trying to stop the bus. Something normal and happens every day everywhere; however the first abnormal thing that both of them were handicapped. The two couples were trying to catch the bus I was in, but the driver did not stop for them as apparently he did not notice. The man did not feel any kind of depression and he started shouting to make people notice and we did and told the driver to stop for this family.
The couples got into the bus; they were moving very slowly and meanwhile after they site down near by me I also discovered that the man is deaf, dumb while his wife was blind. By the way, they are youth and not old and I think they are at the late 20s or maximum at their early of 30s.
This was not the situation which made me stop and think. The two couples were not alone; they had their own baby girl who is not more than 2-year-old and this little angel was the real reason to suspend everything I was thinking about and to start looking at her. She was great; not only for the feature but mainly for her sweet young smile which was marvelous indeed. I start looking at her, and smiling to her and then waving “bye-bye” and you can imagine how happy this little angel was at this age as I saw joy and happiness swimming within the ocean of her blue eyes and spreading its drops for only who notice, and this reminds me about how great to see a pure smile on the faces of little babies because they do not want anything from you except a smile.
Now it was my turn to say “Subhan Allah” indeed! The father, mother and the baby were handicapped. Yes the baby was so as after few minutes from sending and receiving the childish bye-bye between us, I discovered that the babe can barely walk properly. However, her soul was something great mashallah! Even if it is very clear that they are some how poor and for sure have own problems, this family seems to be very happy.
Just look at them while they were leaving the bus to their destination; the man was holding the two hands pf his wife in odder to guide her while descending the bus steps and keep on making voices as if he was telling her to take care. In the same time, the wife keeps on saying “I am okay! Do not worry; you watch your steps“, while holding their baby on her shoulder while descending the steps of the bus.
Thoughts and Ramblings
I do not think being overwhelmed while saying they were one of the happiest families I met since a long time ago. Hence, this true story about being touched by an angel leads to some thoughts and ramblings about satisfaction which seems many humans have lost nowadays!
- O’ Allah! You have created humans and gave them many things yet they keep on complaining from nothing real in the matter of fact.
- Poor Humans! You keep on looking for happiness here and there yet forget that happiness is very close!
- Poor Humans! You keep on complaining from stupid things while people who really suffer are thanking the Creator for what they have!
- O’ Miserable creatures are those who have not discovered the light within the dark, yet!
- O’ Allah! The Master, The Lord, and The Creator of this Universe not only Earth!
- O’ Allah! I wish I could thank for the unlimited good things Allah gave to me.
- I am just human; therefore I am tying to do my best to thank Allah.
- Allah knows better and knows my intentions not any other creature!
- I wish Allah forgive me and give me the strength and the power to thank Allah via acts and words.
- O’ People! I wish I could tell you how great Almighty Allah (swt) is!
Salam,
Hicham

Salam Everybody – I do not know who was taking care of who in this pretty family?
The man, who dose not talk or hear?
The woman, who dose not see?
or the babe who can not offer anything except happiness?
I think that ALLAH (swt) is taking care well + they take care well of each other!
Subhan ALLAH!

MAY PEACE BE UPON YOUR SOUL, HEART, MIND, AND BODY…AMEN.
Well, Wallahi, you made me feel bad, and good… bad about our state and good ‘cuz of the same thing, but it doesn’t matter how I felt, what truly counts is the way you were touched…
Touched be this innocent angel!
You know why (in my point of view) these people touched you in this soft way? Its ‘cuz of their:
R-I-D-A-
Their inner satisfaction with whatever happens. One should always be grateful to their Lord no matter what befalls them. They’re humans, they must have problems of their own, but this delicacy in taking care of each other is rare in this world I’m living in… For the past twenty years I’ve seen things, but not a lot of that… I hope to see more of these kinda things, cuz my eyes and ultimately soul, need that….
Shukran for sharing this with us, it affected me… as soon as I finish typing this, I’ll tell my folks about it…
PS. regarding ‘ammar, I used to always ask why is the ‘ammar pretty, I’ve always seen it as a cold rock reflecting light… Guess when was the time I stopped asking this question, and saw its beauty?!?!?!
Guess?
Have you guessed?
3 weeks ago only…
In madinah!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I even held my camera and started taking shots of… Baba told me “yallah ya Sara, we don’t wanna be late for the prayer, it’s the same moon back in Abu Dhabi”, but I simply saw something that night that I didn’t see b4… What I’m trying to say here is; keep up this “insighted” sight of yours every second…
It’s just gorgeous…
I’m glad I shared this here… it meant a lot…
With respect,

Sara – Welcome back from Umrah. Inshallah your sins have been erased
Yes sister, it is all about the “RIDA” as you said. I know well that they have their own problem however they have been blessed with the inner peace, which make them accept hard situations.
I believe that they are better than many people who might have everything in Life “family, work, a lot of ,money, etc.” but in fact they loose the most important thing: inner peace
Man must be thankful for the Creator, ALLAH (swt) for the unlimited gifts that we have. However, unfortunately he dose not look except for the dark side . Why?
Everything has it’s good side + bad side. It’s all the angle you look from, or better say “your own perspective”
The Moon thing
I do not know, it is the problem of the poets who invent this term. However I think it’s about the light of the moon within the darkness of the night, I mean the contrast in between. Maybe, Maybe not
Anyway
What really important = How do you look to Life?

That was beautiful. It just shows how God works through others. I can only echo what Sara said. Thank you for this post.

I’m really sorry for the late reply, however I came home late from work those days, thank ALLAH, and I barely could reply

Aren’t you glad for moments in your life like this? I’m glad the occupants of the bus made sure the driver stopped. If they bus had not stopped you would have missed this magical moment. On a side note, the girl is an angel, not a geometric angle (small misspelling).
Love your posts, keep them up.

There is no joy in a life that is all information and fact. There is no ‘juice’ to that kind of life. No sweetness, no color. Like trading a beautiful golden-ripe florida orange for a stalk of withered broccoli.

James Edwards – Thanks for stopping by and sharing me with your comment. I corrected the (angel) typo in the title and body too since I do not think I am touched by an angle
