Assalam Alikom wa rahmat ALLAH
Peace and Blessings be upon you
Hello Everybody
Okay, it’s the New Year 2006 knocking on our doors, requesting permission to enter our life instead of the past 2005. How quickly days pass as 2005 was doing the same thing 365 days ago with 2004.
Well, I’m not a big fan of celebrating the New Year, either Georgian or Hijri year; however the meaning of a new year for me is very simple: it is a moment to have a pause and look back for what I’d fulfilled in my life, and what I want to achieve in the next 365 days.
The 1st thing I must confess with that I still have many many many (3 many) things to do with my life; I can’t say I’m happy and in the same time I’m not sad; it’s all about self evaluation and nothing to do with how I look to life. In the matter of fact, I’m neither optimistic nor pessimistic; as I just try to evaluate things as much as I understand. (I doubt that I understand anything …
)
Anyway, I see it’s important to make a true evaluation for ourselves from time to time, and such evaluation must be honestly done, away from hiding behind any masks, simply because hiding behind them give you false result in this evaluation process.
It’s important to be honest, no matter how the people around are lying, because lying never give you benefit on the long run, some people think that lying can save them from a specific situation on the short run, but believe me it never save, it’s like an endless circle which take you inside, and can’t break through unless you said the truth, so my only advice is to be honest no matter what, and you’ll achieve the success even if you think the contrast.
Another point that we must have a good goal to reach, no matter how small it is, but just set yourself a group of goals to reach, to improve your life, and then try to find the better and good ways to reach such goals, and as much as you care about others and not making your steps over them to reach your goal, you’ll reach it. In parallel, I don’t think that everything came easily, nothing in the world can happen by pressing a button except in four cases:
- when you press the power button in your pc
- when you press the electric power button in any place
- when you press the button of your remote control
- when a maniac president of any nuclear country - if any - presses the red button and release the weapons against its enemies if any too.
Another point that you must try to be useful for the community you are living, wherever you live, your life must have something to do for the others, as it’s not only ME and Myself; it’s good when we do something for helping others, no matter how small and no matter the method of helping.
A final point to end this post is your relationship with ALLAH (swt) or GOD. It’s important to strength this bond between you and the lord, the creator, simply because HE (swt) had created us from his soul, and had provided us with the tools - our mind & body - in order to use them for dealing with life, so in return we must always thank HIM (swt) for his gift, and try to use them in the good things.
Okay, I’m not looking for utopia, simply because it will never exists on Earth; as much as we are humans, there will always be Good and Evil, however it’s our duty to try to reach the good part in our souls, and resist the evil part. I always believe that we are neither Angles nor Devils; we are just humans who are subjected to do good and bad things, but again it’s our duty to overcome the bad side of our souls and make the good part more active.
Religion came to help us to reach the sate of peace, and this peace is the best medium for humans to act better, so it’s important to practice your religion, and for Muslims, it’s important to practice Islam in a real way; where both your soul and mind are practising, and not to practice only to make people think you are good. In fact, doing so never make you good, simply because you are wearing a mask which hides your real soul behind.
Again and again, we must be honest with ourselves no matter what, and finally, as much as you are in peace with yourself and your creator, many things will be better in your life, and finally we shall be asked from the creator, ALLAH (swt), about our deeds; good deeds will lead you to Heaven, and bad deeds will lead you to Hell, so it’s all your choice and not the others.
Didn’t I tell that it’s important to make such a pause? ===> Press Any Key to continue [

I hope all the best for everybody.
Happy New Year everybody everywhere.
Happy 10 days of Zou elHijja Mounth for us - Muslims too.
Salam,
Hicham
