Shine like Gold
As human beings, we are supposed to face problems in our daily life. In fact, no one is 100% problem-free simply because nothing in our world is 100%. Therefore, simply smile and go on for solving your whatever problem(s), and remember: nothing is permanent in life; especially the hard times.
Sometimes people forgot smiling, especially in hard times; when everything goes dark and darker, and sometimes you find no way to escape.
Actually I think the most important thing is to smile at these times especially because it gives a meaning for everything; we are still humans who are capable of smiling, facing problems and overcoming them regardless how big or hard they are.
So, if you cannot do anything but smiling, just do it and remember that there is always light at the end of the tunnel; so do not you think this is another reason to smile?
Now tell me: Have you smiled today?

Sorry!
It seems to be the hardest word, isn’t it?
This fourth (4th) post regarding my wandering in the wonderland of the human nature, tries to reveal the myth behind why this word ‘sorry’ became hard to share with others and hopefully will reach something.
Strange but true when you hear people complain about their partner who does not care about them; whether they are married couples or close friends, whereas when their partner meet with any stranger, you find it easy to apologise if something went wrong!
In any community, people interact with each other according to a scenario where everybody is trying to maximize his/her share of happiness and minimize his/her share of sadness. In such scenario I think we have two prototypes of people:
- Wealthy People who are capable of accepting the existence of the others in their life;
- Poor People who can hardly accept the existence of the others in their life.
The first prototype, ‘wealthy people’ are the ones with open-minded mentalities, which make them aware about the fact of not living alone. Hereby, they understand that as they do welcome happiness/reject sadness; the others want the same thing too. In this situation, they try to achieve a state of balance between their own needs and other needs in a clever way, which simply means do following ethical guide.
On the other hand, ‘poor people’ are the one with narrow-minded mentalities, who are not aware about the fact of not living alone. Hereby, they hardly understand that their way of gaining happiness might hurt others in case it defects their rights. In this situation, they do not care about the others and treat them in a stupid way, which simply means no following ethical guide.
In the light of this, the words 'wealthy' and 'poor' can be understood in terms personality not in terms of cash money. Hence, you may have a sum of money that make you ‘wealthy’ in the eyes of people but if you step over the others for your happiness, your are really ‘poor’ person, and vice versa of course.
It’s very strange how pride and prejudice shade human nature, however this feeling fades out under the lights of what I’ve mentioned which I always emphasize upon: love is the core of this process because when people love each other they will care and vice versa! This reminds me with one of Prophet Muhammad’s quotes when he (pbuh) said:
Love for your brother what you love for yourself.
In a nutshell, it's up to everybody to select either being wealthy or poor in the light of what I mentioned! So which prototype of them are you?

The Language
I’m still wandering in the wonderland of human nature, and this third post deals with the direct human interaction among people in the mundane life.
I found human interaction one of the complicated processes that take place because unlike other creatures’ kingdoms, such interaction takes place in different levels starting with spoken language and ending with the doings. Nowadays, it’s normal to hear people complain about problems in dealing with each other but can we analyse the reasons behind such problems?
The Con Factor
Well, I see that these problems are directly proportional to the implementation of our saying and doings with others in everything, such implementation of saying and doings has only two cases:
Case 1 - Conjugation: This case means that what you say is moving in parallel with what you do in situations. Hereby, the resultant force of both sayings and doings is a positive one that gives you a straight-forward push, allowing you gain credibility among people, which means in other words: trustful and honest personality that people can rely on.
Case 2 - Contradiction: This case means that what you say is crossing with what you do in situations. Hereby, the resultant force of both sayings and doings is a negative one because each one is trying to gain control on the other, causing confusion for the people dealing with you, which decrease the credibility till the point you loose it. In other words: untruthful and dishonest.
Nevertheless, I’ve to mention that I mean by “sayings” both what you say and believe in so it’s not only the spoken language, whereas “doings” means both what you do and your body do so it’s not only the actions but your body language too. Consequently, the two mentioned cases reveals the state of balance and unbalance which I've mentioned in the previous post entitled "Under the Sun".
Indeed! People are different in perspectives due to the unique personality of each human being plus many other factors; however there is always a common ground that we can meet within to interact and people can not discover or understand each other unless clarity is the keystone or else everything will be dimmed! Consequently, this is one of the cornerstones of the islamic creed which we -Muslims - are ought to follow; being honest and clear people.
In a nutshell, since we are humans who have minds not merely brains therefore the choice is ours; we can model a bridge or a wall among each other so it’s all yours!
