Okay, have you ever ask yourself this question: “What is the difference between me and a child?” The instantaneous answer shall be something like “hello! I am adult”
I’ve been following the controversial regarding the case of “Freedom of Speech” and found it really interesting yet something vital is missing. Well, the concept can be summarised into the following statement: “No one should be persecuted for his/her opinion regarding whatever as we are free to criticise and offend others.”
Okay! What about defining “freedom” at first? I’ve modelled freedom before, over I-MAG, as a bird that has two wings, and flies within a certain medium, heading towards a final destination. Let me elaborate more on the terminology mentioned up:
I was following the controversy regarding Geert Wilders’ documentary entitled “Fitna” however I postponed my opinion till watching it because one can’t judge anything until he read, see, hear and finally models such inputs via thinking to render an opinion.
Actually while following such controversy, I thought it will be nothing more than what claimed before as offering Wilders’ view on Islam and Qur’an. I however sadly discovered -after watching- that the film has trapped into the stereotyped swamp in a way that makes me feel sorrow for him because he was just playing the same old recorded message in a very miserable way.
People are the enemy of what they fear.
OKAY! I know this is a global proverb which is rooted in many cultures in one way or another however my very simple + fundamental question: why don’t they try to know?
We are not Cats, even if I’m a human cat myself
, thus not merely we have brains but mainly we have minds! This is not a new discovery yet it seems that majority have tuned their minds to receive without thinking about what is being received just because whoever told them so!
I perceive reading as the first step on the thousand-mile way that human being go before reaching enlightenment.
Nevertheless, it’s not a must to agree with all what you read because humans are different yet they were created to know each other and understand each other.
People are different!
This is a very fundamental fact that unfortunately became fogged in our world and this is the reason behind many conflicts and clashes that occurred between people while interacting with each other in whatever situations.
