Resources
Dear Visitor,
Hello and welcome to Resources page that serves as a ‘mini-doc’ to introduce my blog technically. Kindly note that external links on this page will open in a new browser's window, so welcome aboard!
1. What is a blog?
“Blog” is an abbreviated version of ‘weblog,’ which is a term used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. A blog is a frequently updated, personal website featuring diary-type commentary and links to articles on other Web sites.
Blogs range from the personal to the political, and can focus on one narrow subject or a whole range of subjects. Generally speaking (although there are exceptions), blogs tend to have a few things in common:
- A main content area with articles listed chronologically, newest on top.
- Often, the articles are organized into categories.
- An archive of older articles.
- A way for people to leave comments about the articles.
- A list of links to other related sites, sometimes called a ‘blogroll’.
- One or more ‘feeds’ like RSS, Atom or RDF files.
[Footnote 1]
2. The Content
My thoughts are presented here in the form of “articles” (a.k.a. ‘posts’ or ‘entries’) which is listed in descending order by publishing date from newer to older. In parallel, there are ‘static pages’ like this one where extra information are introduced. Furthermore, other extra stuff are placed in the ‘sidebar’ and ‘footer’ such as links and meta inforamtion.
3. Blog Pages
A comprehensive list of the pages that are currently found on my blog:
- About » Introdcution about the blog's owner (‘me’);

4. Comments
I appreciate your opinion about what is posted whether you agree/disagree with however I do moderate comments in order to avoid spam + irrelevant allegations for the posts that are open for commenting. You can find this clearly mentioned in the ‘red alert box’ that appears before the commenting box within any post. More information are also available in both the ‘Terms of Use’ page. Moreover, if you have any questions regarding privacy, pleae consult the ‘Privacy Policy’ page.

5.2 Synchronization
One of the best ways to keep on following up with the blog is subscribing to the ‘feed’ which is a list of latest updates for the blog. This can be done either by e-mail or reader.
5.2.1 Subscribe via Email
This service alerts you with an e-mail once the blog is updated. There are many online services to do so however I rely on FeedBurner particularly.
- You can subscribe here via E-mail.
5.2.2 Subscribe via Reader
Alternatively, whether you prefer online readers (such as Google Reader, Bloglines, My Yahoo!, My AOL, My MSN, NewsGator, Pageflakes, Netvibes) or applications (such as Firefox, Opera, Safari, Safari), you can easily subscribe to my blog feed via your favourite reader.
Pick any of these three feedes to subscribe:
- ‘RSS Feed’ powered by » FeedBurner;
- ‘RSS Feed’ powered by » WordPress.
