Subhan Allah
Assalam Alaikum wa rahmat Allah.
Peace be upon you dear visitor.
Islam has its own terminology that was elevated and developed through the Arabic language from the Holy Quran. Hereby, the title of this blog entry Subhan Allah is one of the common and popular terms which literally means “Glory be to Allah (God)” or “Praise be to the Lord.”
Muslims generally – and the Arab ones of them particularly – use this term in different situations both on minor and major scales. On the minor scale, it can be used in situations when someone wonders about something either positively in a happy way which is almost be used like this, or negatively which is not the standard. On the other hand, the major scale, it is constantly used to reflect the deep respect for the unlimited power of The Almighty Allah (swt) – GOD – The Creator of this universe not only Earth.

In this post, I am implementing the term Subhan Allah on both minor and major scales; to express a positive happily wonder in parallel with the respect to Almighty Allah (swt). The reason behind saying it is merely related to the two following situations:
- Sandstorm pictures: On 27th of April 2005, BBC told about a sandstorm that hits Iraq that I found amazing. You can check the Sandstorm pictures slide show at BBC English and BBC Arabic yourself.
- Space Explorations pictures: I saw slide show over the MSNBC network that demonstrated the new pictures captured by “Hubble Space Telescope” while exploring the space and universe. You can check the various new NASA’s Hubble images directly through the HubbleSite Gallery website.
For me it is amazing to see how these images reflect the manifestation of the infinite power for The Creator, Almighty Allah (swt). Consequently, nature in general – whether on Earth or universe – is a vivid source that can enlighten our minds to wonder plus ponder about how mankind had been chosen by Almighty Allah (swt) among all the other creatures to hold the responsibility of urbanizing Earth that Islam encourages; however the problem is simply that Mankind seems like forgetting about their mission in one way or another.
I would like to end this post with wondering about how some images of sandstorm plus Hubble Space images for recent Space Explorations lead me to say Subhan Allah and hence thinking about the creationism process where I believe that Clay equals Man as elaborated elsewhere. Nevertheless, I am highlighting the importance of thinking about universe not only Earth as this type of rational thinking is one of many basic facts in Islam that Muslims are told to practice as the Holy Quran mentioned in the two following verses:
{Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason} — [Holy Quran (Koran) Translation - 2:164]
{Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o’er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!} — [Holy Quran (Koran) Translation - 7:54]
Subhan Allah, indeed!

Ahmad: the 9-month-old Baby
Assalam Alaikum wa rahmat Allah.
Peace be upon you dear visitor.
I want to express my feelings about what happened for two married Egyptian couples who got a baby boy named Ahmad few months ago. He was born with a rare disorder in his heart that requires going through two cardiac operations for fixing this disorder.
I am aware about how much efforts have been spent by many people inside and outside Egypt till these two operations were successfully held into a specialized hospital in Saudi Arabia few weeks ago which reached a sum of $25,000. After by, Ahmad the 9-month-old baby went back with his family to Egypt in a great state.

Baby passed away
Yesterday I was told Ahmad the 9-month-old baby passed away!
Nothing to say when firstly heard about his death except what we say when someone pass away: “inna lillah wa inna ilayhi rajiun” as this is how a Muslim reacts when others die according to both the Islamic faith and beliefs, yet this great ebtelaa (examination and hard times in English) from The Almighty Allah (swt) – GOD – to his family (dad – mom) plus everyone who participated in helping Ahmad on different levels.
This is indeed the will of Allah (swt) who knows best and mentioned that whenever HE took a baby from his parents by death, and they did not blame, Allah will reward them inshallah in Al-Jannah (Heaven) in the hereafter that follows the Day of Judgment. This meaning has been mentioned in a hadith for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and I already told my friends who informed me with Ahmad’s case to tell his parents this. Additionally, I never saw the baby in person except his picture while I was following up with the case from the medical reports when people were looking for others to help him and his family but subhanallah I feel like the baby was or at least I saw him in real.
It is hard to find other words to say but as mentioned up, this is an examination from The Almighty Allah (swt) – GOD – for all people who offered to help Ahmad the 9-month-old baby by all means to overcome the problems aroused after he successfully passed through the two cardiac operations. The list of involved people starts by parents, passing by friends, relatives and end with non-relatives who volunteered during this. Nevertheless, as Muslims on Hard Times, we are called to walk through two parallel ways in the same time to endure these bad times tell they pass as I already elaborated elsewhere.
Finally I say: Subhanallah wa laillah illa allah, so may Allah bless his little soul, and sustain his family, and inshallah they will be guided them to Al-Jannah. Amen!

Busy: I will be back
Assalam Alaikum wa rahmat Allah.
Peace be upon you dear visitor.

Busy: I will be back - LOL
I am busy nowadays and this image expresses my current status of being not only occupied but overwhelmed since there are many stuff to do, hence I ask The Almighty Allah (swt) – GOD – to help and support me.
It is better to have something to do rather than doing nothing in my life, so thank Allah for everything but sometimes you find yourself overloaded and this is the situation now so again I ask Allah to support me.
Anyway: since this is supposed to be a for lol post, therefore I say: I’ll be back. Indeed this reminds me with the way Arnold Schwarzenegger says it in his action movies.
