of Prophet Muhammed 12 insulting Cartoons

Assalam Alaikum wa rahmat Allah.
Peace be upon you dear visitor.

Prophet Muhammad: Danish Cartoon Crisis

Prophet Muhammad: Danish Cartoon Crisis

In this post, I am highlighting on some important points regarding my post that discussed how the New Hijiri Year 1427 started by circulating Islamophobia through insulting cartoons published in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten and comments raised in it. If you wish, you can read it and then complete here if you wish. Let me focus on the following points.

The Crises in 10 Points

  • Point 1: Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is a symbol of Islam, thus Muslims cannot stop and watch while insulting the prophet takes place. It is not acceptable at all by any mean or via any method.
  • Point 2: Muslims did not ask for anything except real apology for what happened from the Danish government plus the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten simply because what happened cannot be categorized under Freedom or Liberty as I discussed before; it is rather insulting for the second source of legislation in Islam after the Holy Quran.
  • Point 3: This does not meanthat Muslims will take illegal acts or act in a violent way because that is not from Islam. Nevertheless, Muslims are called to defend Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in legal way like boycotting any country until we see progress.
  • Point 4: I always used to respect the Danish government for their efforts regarding reaching peace in the Middle East. However the situation of insulting Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) can change this.
  • Point 5: I am not preloaded with any stereotype image regarding anyone; rather your acts plus words create this image and this applies to anyone regardless the faith or race.
  • Point 6: One of my guests – Mr. Todd – commented on the previous post saying that the poor Danish workers have no role in this boycotting. Those Danish workers have a government, who is responsible for them and this government refused to meet the committee of Arab and Muslim Ambassadors who asked to meet the Danish Prime Minister of Denmark, therefore until they understand that what happened is neither liberty nor freedom, we cannot stop boycotting.
  • Point 7: By the way for god sake, the UN – or better say USA – applies economic sanctions towards countries for a reason or another. In the same manners, we – Muslims – are applying economic sanction towards any country who will not respect our religion.
  • Point 8: No one can accuse people when they take acts to defend what they believe in, and in the same time Muslims respect you and what you believe in as our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) taught us who is being insulted now.
  • Point 9: Illegal acts towards Non-Muslims for what had happened are not acceptable because they neither represent the Islamic faith nor Islamic beliefs. Consequently, any illegal acts from who think they can threat us by insulting the Holy Quran is not acceptable too, because this proof that people did not understand yet that insulting religion is something not acceptable at all from anyone, no matter what and whether it is Islam or non.
  • Point 10: Now it is your own problem when you are not trying to understand what Islam calls for and just focus on the wrong stereotype image or deal with the misconceptions that neither represents Islam nor Muslims but choose to go through Islamophobia.

Towards better understanding

Hence, boycotting will continue to the Danish goodies plus any other country who do not respect us simply because it is our right and legal way to defend Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as nations. It is hard to pay our money for buying goodies from anyone anywhere, who do not respect my religion. That is why we boycott and will continue boycotting until we see real apology and progress.

In other words, Muslims are not only calling to stop insulting Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) but also for any prophet because Islam respects them all since they are the Messengers form The Almighty Allah (swt) – GOD – to mankind and this what a real apology means from my point of view. Consequently, I see that we should call for a better world and cannot be achieve except real understanding, not by increasing hate via insulting actions and we will not die if we boycott any other country. Nowadays, Muslims represent almost 25% of the world population and according to Islam which we are proud of yet we do not hate others!

Hicham

  1. Salam Everybody – before making any comments – if any – kindly read the previous post; as this current post is complementary to it.

    • Comment – as much as you didn’t understand the problem yet, you – and people who think is the same way you do – will cause the problem to expand.

The problem of you – and people who think is the same way you do – that you don’t respect the others, don’t respect anything.

That really prove that you are far away from the real meaning of Liberty, and Civilization.

Qur’an is saved by ALLAH (swt), and your acts will not affect us, and be sure that your plans will not be effective on the long run.

      It’s your problem, believe me.

  2. Dear Visitor who’ve deleted his/her comment – I wish you haven’t delete your comment, even if it you don’t agree with me.

Personally, I’ve no problem when people don’t agree with me, simply because people are different, however I respect your opinion no matter what.

Anyway, this post is followed by another one titled “Of torching the Embassies” to complete the scope, Therefor, I wish to find your comment placed again in the near future.

    Yours,
    Hicham

  3. To those of the Nation of Islam, Allah’s blessings forever to you and yours.
I have seen the cartoonsa, and tries to place myself in your shoes, which was easy. I am Druid, not a Christian. Our people for generations have been portrayed as ‘evil satanists’ (the problem with that, we do not believe in satan, that is a Christian belief, not ours. So how can we be part of somethingwe don’t even recognize, let alone be a part of our belief, philosophy, ect..), ‘human sacrificers’
‘monsters’, ‘depraved mad sorcerers’, adn so on.
We honour and worship that of which is of the earth, sea, and sky, of which there are most benevolent dieties.
I have lost jobs, friends, and even my family, at times, has very little to do with me. My wife and son are Christian, and love love me very much, therefore I am a lucky man.
I understand to a degree, your anger of the cartoons, but I think the political element was directed to the Taliban, AlKaida, adn other fundalism extremists using Allah, Islam, and the Qu’Ran, as a tool for their purpose of death and destruction. Just as Pres. Bush adn his Cabinet Members use our country and their beliefs for their goals and purpose. This does not make anything right , and must stop.
I am saddened by the continuous flow of blood, destruction, mahem, and madness, thrown onto our planet by those wishing to use others for their own goals and reasons.
I know the cartoons were not used as a slam or insult to the good people of Islam. I think, the authors were trying to vent frustration, anger, fear, and by using a little humour,(which backfired), toward those abusing the Qu’Ran, Islam, and the name of Allah, used their art and talent to express these emotions. I am not condoning, nor condemning, the printing of the cartoons. But, what has happened, obviously, has hurt a lot of people, and one thing is for certain, we, as humanity, must do everything in our power to stop this madness before it really gets out of hand.
These are frightening and confusing times, and I pray to the Gods for help. Our children have seen TOO MUCH HATE, WAR, AND DESTRUCTION. No-one is right. War does not correct anything, and it never will. For when all is said and done, someone will feel hurt, and start the whole thing all over again. It is a vicious circle.
I pray for peace, and I hope we will be able to eat and drink together without fear or prejudice.
Political cartoons have always been used as a ‘safe way’ to express feelings, emotions, ideas, discontent, and anger without saying a lot. A picture is worht a thousand words, (lest the truth be known), and if there is anyone we should be angry at, it is our ‘leaders’.
Again, I am not condoning the cartoons, but we should sit back, regroup our thoughts and try other ways and means to remedy and rectify the situations at hand, like I said earlier, before things really get out of hand. Killing each other is not the answer. Our Gods, however perceived, do not want us to destroy the 2 most precious gifts ever. Our life and our planet. I pray that that which your heart follows, be with you and guide you always. Chas

    • Chas> – Thanks for stopping by.

I totally agree with you in your comment. In fact the bad situation that humanity is facing in now a days make me feel strange that we are living in the 21st century and still have those misconceptions problems.

Regarding the cartoons, I’d collected my thoughts in one final post titled “of the Danish Cartoon Crises” which is reflecting some of what you’ve said.

As for humanity, If you browse my blog, you’ll find me talking in a special post about this point, it is titled “Hey You!”. You are welcome to read it.

Anyway, Peace is the only way to solve problems not violence, and I talked about this in my different articles posted in I-MAG Magazine.

      I pray for Humanity.
