Mashable’s 2009 Open Web Awards

Mashable announced its 3^rd annual “Open Web Awards” for the year 2009 which is an online voting for the innovations in web technology and achievements in social media. I am encouraging you to spend part of your time to participate and you can do so either by your “twitter account” or “facebook account” alternatively.

Mashable 2009 Open Web Awards

Mashable’s award for the year 2009 has three phases; two of them are open for the people according to the time line announced as following:

1. Nomination: from 14^th of October to 15^th of November;
2. Voting: from 18^th of November to 13^th of December;
3. Winners: On Tuesday, December 15^th, 2009.

When you sign-in, go for Categories and start nominating your candidates. If you want to nominate any locals, just go for the category that have the term ‘local’ in its name; for example: Best Local Blog, Best Local News Site, etc. As for me, I already placed my nominations and eager to see the list of nominees.
