I-MAG: One Year of Enlightening

Hello Everybody
You may have noticed that the name I-MAG was mentioned many times and linked to many of my posts on this blog. Let me introduce the magazine for you in quick brief.
I-MAG is a free quarterly Non-Profit PDF English Magazine which deals with presenting Islam + Muslims from a wide perspective, and try to in the same time to cover contemporary issues Humanity faces as Muslims are integral part of this planet.
Thereby you will find the magazine dealing with different issues/fields of life; however it is not related by any means to the field of Fatawas or religious simply because this is a work of Muslim Scholars.
On the other hand, as we believe that people thinks in different ways, we respect this and in fact we believe in critique and critical thinking in hopes of presenting intellectual enlightenment in the areas that we cover while adhering to the code of ethics of journalism.
The magazine was firstly published in February 2005 on a monthly basis until May 2005. After by, it was paused for 3 months, for the sake of evaluation process, simply because it’s important for anybody to stop for sometime and evaluate things around; this varies from the personal scale to the global scale.
Anyway, the aftermath of such this evaluation process, I-MAG returned back in a renovated way as a quarterly Magazine, starting from September 2005.
The 7th issue of the magazine - Spring 2006 - had been published today. It has special theme about Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and covers many points regarding the Freedom of Speech from different editors with different perspectives. That’s why it’s about 59 pages.
As one year had passed since the magazine was firstly published, I’d like to thank every body from the editorial team who’d participated with efforts to enrich this magazine.
On the other hand, I’d like to thank everybody who’d download the past issues of I-MAG, and everybody who’d sent feedbacks for the editorial team.
