I-MAG Magazine: One Year of Enlightenment

Assalam Alaikum wa rahmat Allah.
Peace be upon you dear visitor.

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you may have noticed that the name “I-MAG Magazine” is mentioned many times and linked in many blog entries over here, so let me introduce the magazine for you.

I-MAG Magazine, abbreviated as “I-MAG“, is a free quarterly non-profit Online English magazine which deals with presenting Islam plus Muslims in the 21^st century from a wide perspective and tries to in the same time to cover contemporary issues mankind faces as Muslims are integral part of this planet.

Thereby, you will find the magazine dealing with different issues and topics of life; however it is not related by any means to the field of Fatwa because this is the work of Muslim scholars, so I-MAG is rather an intellectual magazine for those who like to wonder and ponder for enriching their human intellect.

Furthermore, since I-MAG editorial team is aware about the variation of thinking among people therefore the magazine implements critique and critical thinking in hopes of presenting intellectual enlightenment in the areas that I-MAG covers while adhering to the code of ethics of journalism in parallel.

I-MAG Magazine was firstly published in February 2005 on a monthly basis until May 2005. After by publication was paused for 3 months for the sake of evaluation process as it is important for anybody to pause and evaluate things around starting from the personal scale and ending with the global scale.

I-MAG Magazine's 7th issue: Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

The aftermath of this evaluation process was a decision to renovate I-MAG as a quarterly magazine starting from September 2005.

Today as of writing this post, the 7^th issue (Spring 2006) is published a thematically about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) which covers various topics by different editors and contributers with different perspectives in 59 pages.

As visitor to I-MAG Magazine website, you can download various free materials from the three main sections:-

2. I-MAG Books: additional free gifts with issues in PDF format
3. I-MAG TV: multimedia resources.

I hope you will enjoy your visit and download free materials that you are interested in as a website visitor. On the other hand, as a reader to I-MAG, I would like to draw your attention to the following three notes:

1. Non-Paid: I want to highlight that since I-MAG is free therefore no one of the editorial team is paid for the job; rather they donate part of their time for working on the magazine which is free for download inshallah for those who are interested.
2. I-MAG Magazine Styling Guide: I would like to draw your attention that I-MAG has its styling guide, so kindly consult it for more information on how Arabic words are pronounced and wrote in the articles.
3. I-MAG Magazine Anniversary: February resembles the anniversary as one year has passed since I-MAG was firstly published. For that matter, I would like to thank every body in the editorial team have participated with efforts to enrich this magazine.
