Humm-Mumm

Assalam Alaikum wa rahmat Allah.
Peace be upon you dear visitor.

Sandwich: Humm-Mumm

Sandwich: Humm-Mumm

Since I am hungry, therefore I will go to eat a sandwich while moving my mouth with humm-mumm way then return back to my work; however of course I have not come to make an announcement about being hungry since no one shall gain any benefit from this press release.

On the contrary, I cannot think about eating without remembering other people who share us the membership of humanity worldwide yet they do not have something to eat or at least cannot afford to do this except in hard ways. For that matter, I pray to The Almighty Allah (swt) – GOD – to help them and guide other humans who can help them instead of spending money on something useless.

Nowadays, no body can deny the importance of money since doing so means that he (and she) are far away from being rational; however I believe money is a tool not a goal at the end of the day, so when some people put money as their ultimate goal, this is one of many other reasons that makes humanity suffers as we see.

Hereby, this is simply the concept of Zakat in Islam; where you dedicate small portion of your income to help needy people under certain circumstances according to the Islamic faith and belief. It is close to paying tax principal in nowadays terms although you do not have direct benefit in terms of services for what you pay yet you have reward from The Almighty Allah (swt) – GOD – for what you do in parallel with practical help for these needy humans who cannot afford to have income, and this is why I think Zakat is one of the (5) five pillars of Islam. On the other hand, it is notable that Zakat follows Prayers when it is mentioned in the Holy Quran, so read and think about the following verse:

{And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience]} — [Holy Quran (Koran) Translation - 2:43]

These elaborations reminds me with our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) when he told us about how Muslims are called to help other people who are suffering as much as they can. This concept is a basic fact in Islam according to the Islamic faith and beliefs and was best expressed through Sami Yusuf‘s performing for his nasheed Al-Muallim when he sang:

He taught us to be just and kind
And to feed the poor and hungry,
Help the wayfarer and the orphan child
And to not be cruel and miserly,

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad: Mercy Upon Mankind, sallal laho alaihi wasallam, peace and blessings be upon him, his family and the companions, Amen!

I do thank Almighty Allah (swt) for many things: eat, shelter, safe, mind, health, etc. The list reaches infinity, hence I want to make a reminder that Muslims on Hard Times are called to remember Almighty Allah in these times plus the good ones as I elaborated before.

Anyway, it is not time to make philosophy as usual, so better go to eat then return back to finish my work since I have too many stuff to finish nowadays and my “to-do list” is almost full, so I ask Allah the support.

Salam
