Egyptian Smiles

Ladies and Gentlemen: Ramadan Kareem for Muslims worldwide on the 4^th day of Ramadan 2009/1430. I do not feel like thinking or writing about many topics that are running into my mind recently. Therefore I would like to share these three famous Egyptian smiles that return back to the 20^th century during 1950s and 1980s in Arabic movies and screen plays.

The 1^st Egyptian smiles is my favorite political and social joke within an old Arabic play entitled “Al-Motazwgoun (Arabic: المتزوجون)” in 1980s decade.

The 2^nd and 3^rd Egyptian smiles are from an old Arabic movie entitled “Ismail Yaseen fi Mostashfa El-Maganeen (Arabic: إسماعيل يس في مستشفى المجانين)” from the 1950s decade.

Isma3eel Yasseen is hilarious! :p

I used to love watching black and white Egyptian movies for the depth and entertainment they offered. Yes, I’m nostalgic.

Allah yerhamoo, he and all the other great Egyptian actors and actresses who gave viewers, the Arab World over, great cinematographic moments and made many homes laugh to tears.
