Egyptian Smiles

Ladies and Gentelmen: Ramadan Kareem for Muslims worldwide on the 4th day of Ramadan 2009/1430. I do not feel like thinking/writing about many topics that are running into my mind recently. Therefore I would like to share these three famous “Egyptian Scenes” that return back to the 1950s & 1980s in Arabic.

The 1st video is my faved political/social joke within an old Arabic play entitled ‘Al-Motazwgoun (1980s)’ whereas the 2nd + 3rd videos are among my favs of an old Arabic movie entitled ‘Ismail Yaseen fi Mostashfa El-Maganeen (1950s)’ [ ] So who do not remeber such stuff? Isma3eel Yasseen is hilarious! :p

I used to love watching black and white Egyptian movies for the depth and entertainment they offered. Yes, I’m nostalgic.

Allah yerhamoo, he and all the other great Egyptian actors and actresses who gave viewers, the Arab World over, great cinematographic moments and made many homes laugh to tears.
