Blog Resources
Section 1. What is a blog?
“Blog” is an abbreviated version of ‘weblog’ which is a term used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. A blog is a frequently updated, personal website featuring diary-type commentary and links to articles on other Web sites.
Blogs range from the personal to the political, and can focus on one narrow subject or a whole range of subjects. Although there are exceptions – blogs tend to have a few things in common:
- A main content area with articles that are listed chronologically where newest appears on top;
- Often, the articles are organized into categories;
- An archive of older articles;
- A way for people to leave comments about the articles;
- A list of links to other related sites, sometimes called blogroll;
- One or more feeds like RSS, Atom or RDF files.

Section 2. Content Description
My thoughts and reflections, that I prefer to label as my rendered perspectives, are presented here in the form of “blog entries” (also: ‘posts’, ‘entries’, ‘articles’) that are listed chronologically in descending order from newer to older. You can access them by navigating through the “Sidebar (located at the right side)” or if you like an enhanced navigation, you can check the “Blography (located at the top menu)” which is the archive of my blog.
In parallel with “posts”, there are “pages” like the current one you are reading where technical information are documented. Additionally, a blog also have extra resources that are usually placed in the sidebar and footer such as links and meta information and others.
Section 3. Blog Pages
This is a comprehensive list for the pages that are currently documented on my blog:
- About Blog Document » Introduction about the blog and it’s owner (“me”);
- Blography Document » Archive for the blog entries (“posts”, “articles”);
- Red Carpet Document » Awards + Reviews + Themes for this blog;
- Limelight Document » Blogs of note that I like in the blogosphere;
- Terms of Use Document » Blog’s terms and conditions;
- Privacy Policy Document » Blog’s privacy policy;
- Blog Resources Document » This page.
Additionally, there are three statistical pages for overall usage as follows:
- Stats: Blog Polls Document » Statistics of blog’s polls archive;
- Stats: Blog Usage Document » Statistcs of blog’s general usage;
- Stats: Blog Visitors Document » Statistics of blog’s online visitors;
important note: Blog’s Privacy Policy plus Terms of Use are two pages that were entirely written by me. They are not an placed as an outcome of an auto-generated script for decorating the blog, so please take your time for reading them in order to be aware about your rights and my rights. Thanks!

Blog Comments: Alert-Box
Section 4. Blog Comments
I appreciate your opinion about what is posted whether you agree or disagree with me; however I do moderate comments in order to avoid spam plus irrelevant allegations for the posts that are open for commenting.
You shall find this mentioned within “blog comment’s alert-box” that appears before the commenting form under “Leave your Impression” section at the end of any post. For more information, please consult “terms of use” page and if you have any questions regarding your privacy as a visitor, please consult the “privacy policy” page.
Your Avatar: My blog comments system supports showing off your “avatar” which is the personal image that you choose for for yourself to be recognized with it on-line. If you already have one, it will be shown automatically after approving your comment. Otherwise, your name will appear in comments section with the blog’s default empty avatar. Hereby, if you would like to know more about the globally recognized avatars service and know how to obtain yours, please check the Gravatar.com website.

Blog Content's Rating
Section 5. Blog Content’s Rating
Alternatively in parallel with commenting, you can rate the content per post. This rating system simply means casting your vote in a democratic way which is another method for expressing yourself and interacting over the blog whether you placed a comment or not.
I am ending this section with mentioning how I do appreciate your valuable time that you spent while reading the blog content and interacting by placing comments, rating posts, voting polls, linking back or even just stopping by so thank you!

quran.com: Translations Menu
Section 6. Translating the Quran (T.M.Q.)
I place versus from “The Holy Quran” in some of posts that are related to the subject of discussion. These posts are usually categorized under “Islam” and always tagged as “quran-translation.” For that matter, I depend on the quran.com website as a reference for these verses, so wherever you find quran verses cited in my posts, you shall find its referenced link over the quran website at the end of the verses.
When you visit the link, you can check the different available translations form the quran.com’s translations menu that is found to the left hand-side of the screen over there. I find T.M.Q. by Yusuf Ali is very accurate then follows it Marmaduke Pickthall from my point of view. Nevertheless, check the available translations to reach the close meanings for the verses.
Section 7. Miscellaneous
The miscellaneous technical notes in this section include how to contact the blog’s owner (“me”) and how to keep on following my blog when it is updated.
7.1 Contact: you can reach me by checking the “About” page.
7.2 Synchronization: If you want to keep on following up with the blog, consider subscribing to the “blog feed service”. It delivers summaries for the latest updates of the blog’s content in the form of into plus link to the post. This service is currently available either by receiving e-mail or through reader.
- Subscribe via Email: This service alerts you with an e-mail once the blog is updated. There are many on-line services for that matter; however I rely on “FeedBurner service” particularly:
- you can subscribe here via E-mail.
- Subscribe via Reader: Alternatively, whether you prefer on-line readers (such as Google Reader, Bloglines, My Yahoo!, My AOL, My MSN, NewsGator, Pageflakes, and Netvibes) or applications (such as Firefox, Opera, and Safari), you can easily subscribe to my blog feed via your favorite reader by adding any of the following three feeds to subscribe:
