Section 1. About Hicham Maged’s blog

Since nobody can claim that he (and she) knows everything therefore as a human being who is living for some particular time on planet Earth, I believe that imagination is more important than knowledge, so acquiring knowledge does (and should) not kill the sense of wondering and pondering.

In other simple words, inquisitive curiosity paves the path of knowledge for human beings. Hereby, my bunch of questions can be summarized in the two following ones:

• How little we know about each other regardless the faith and the race?!
• Isn’t strange that the majority of people are stereotyped regarding whatever?!

These questions had enlightened me to start my thousand miles to go into the blogging world as of April 2005 via the blog entitled “Stairway to Heaven” under the nickname “SomeMuslimMan.” Later on after acquiring my domain-name and establishing my website in October 2006, it was normal to emigrate from “Google Blogger” and shout out loud “Hello World!” over here through “WordPress” platform; however I did not delete my “Google BlogSpot blog” completely because it reflects an important phase of my life.

Section 2. Who is Hicham Maged

I am the author of this blog; a native Muslim, Arabic and Egyptian guy who was born in the year 1977. I consider my personality as the resultant for the interaction of these cultural contexts. This finally ensures a vivid medium for interacting with other human beings regardless their faith or race.

My blog here is where I place my rendered perspectives for the topics I discuss in various issues in the form of blog entries (posts). You are welcome to read, think and interact about what is presented as discussed bellow in section #3.

Alternatively, if you are interested in reading my published articles as a freelance writer, you can check the “English Website” and “Arabic Website” but kindly notice they are cross-published electronically with other on-line portals.
