7/7: The Devil’s Day
Assalam Alaikum wa rahmat Allah.
Peace be upon you dear visitor.
How can you label the 7th of July 2005 other than the day where devil setup his black parties? Two bloody acts occurred in this day: 7/7 London bombings in the United Kingdom plus assassinating Mr. Ihab Al-Sherif our Egyptian Ambassador in Iraq. Hereby, I cannot find another expression; hence this blog entry tries to issue an analytic criticism for what happened yesterday!
Calls from Satan
It seems like a series of calls to his human agents were done by Satan the day before yesterday or even older in order to prepare for this. Indeed, I am aware that it is not about oversimplifying of evil versus good yet I cannot prevent myself from recalling this imaginary picture to my memory where the devil sends death orders to carry out these these doomed actions!
1. London Bombing
The 7/7 devil’s day started with news reporting a series of suicidal attacks on London’s transportation system where innocent victims have fallen down either injured or killed for no particular reason except that extremists decided to use their evil power.

7/7 London Bombings
Firstly, let me place my condolence and share my sympathy with the families of both injured and killed human beings. I understand how horrible they felt because we in Egypt had suffered from terrorism during the whole decade of the 1990s of the past 20th century while the world was watching because radical terrorists were not in the focus of lights yet at this time.
Secondly, I am not that much surprised about the linking with radical terrorists like “al-Qaeda” or others who follow their ideology because they are nothing but group of terrorists packed together who have illusions about their “blessed raids” that are actually nothing but damned actions indeed.
Thirdly, needless to repeat myself that Islam is much greater than words to defend; however what is being committed under its umbrella by those radical extremists is what we, Muslims and non-Muslims, are called stand up against terrorism because there acts are nothing but another scene of the scary movie of Islamophobia plus ugly terrorism worldwide.
For that matter, what happened in the devil’s day means we it is time to start highlighting on the sharp edge that clearly separates terrorism committed by radical terrorists from what Islam is because they cannot meet under the same umbrella. Hence, these attacks are as evil as anyone can imagine, yet they reveal some basic tactics used by radical terrorists to serve their purpose:
- the manipulation of Islam and Islamic knowledge;
- the oversimplifying for events and history.
In other simple yet direct words, I consider terrorists as people with black and closed mentalities that had failed to understand the light of faith, or better say the light of The Almighty Allah (swt) – GOD – because they went far away from the basic fact that Islam encourages urbanizing Earth and go through their irrational acts which is their own problem not Islam and this should be clear while dealing with them.

Ihab Al-Sherif (Egyptian Ambassador)
2. Ihab Al-Sherif
On the other hand, the 7/7 devil’s day also carried the sad news about the horrible assassination of Ihab al-Sherif, our Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq, who was kidnapped five days ago on the 3rd of July in Baghdad.
I can feel the pain of his family as they lost him for no reason except the evil power of those terrorists. I am aware that everybody shall leave this life under the will of Almighty Allah (swt) yet I am talking about the circumstances themselves.
I shall not wonder about how some radical terrorists forget that we are not Almighty Allah (swt) to judge others, because their mentalities have no room for such basic facts, and in the hereafter, Allah shall judge everybody not us.
Finally, let me emphasize again that terrorism has no religion or race; it is all about the ugly face of some sick and miserable human creatures as I explained up. For me, I wonder how we can call them ‘human creatures’ because they seems nothing but devil’s agents as elaborated.
Indeed! I felt sorry for all the people who killed or injured, and felt sorry for all those innocent victims who have fallen down every where; however I am definitely sure that since one of Allah names is “Al-Adl” which literally means (“The Just” or “The Equitable”), therefore Allah shall judge everyone in the hereafter according to what he (and she) had presented during our life on planet Earth!
Update: here is another post that lists links for statements about Muslims Reaction to 7/7 London Bombings that are issued by some UK-based Muslim Organizations.
Salam,
Hicham

salamo aleko every body,,
first of all,,i would like to say that this article was really a great article,,
and i wanna say that,, yeah,, i am denying all what had happened in london,, and this is so terrific,, as alot of innocent ppl have died,, and i hope that no one in uk,, will think that these terror attacks,, belongs to islam or islam accept it,, and i would prove what i had said,, that prophet (pbuh0.. orderd us that when we are in a war,, we mustn’t kill women,, children,,and even not cut any tree except for eating,, so this show that islam is the relgion of merci even in wars,,
so i hope that every one in uk or in the world will think that islam accept such doings,, and islamic morals are completely different from what had happened in uk,,
but ,, to be honest..we have to say that,, these terror attacks,, are a result of the american and uk policy in iraq,, and towards the middle east at all,, and sometimes terrorists,, thought that this is the only way to defend themselves,, and to made usa or uk,, know their message,, to stop their violence in iraq,,
imagine someone in iraq,, an american or uk soldier, have killed his family.. he want to take revenge from every one in america or uk,, so if america or uk,, want to stop these terror attacks,, they have to stop their policy,, and i am sure that our relations with america will completely changed,, as we don’t hate or against american or uk ppl.. not at all,,, but we are against american or uk policy,,

Well, noting to thank me for as what’s written here @ this blogspot is just what I really feel.
On the other hand, we all do whatever we can to tell the right information about Islam + Muslims and not to defend Islam, simply because I’m from the team who see that Islam don’t need any kind of defense, it rather need people to understand it and act in the right way Islam tell us to do
It’s all a matter of acts not the concept itself, and you’ll find this meaning in a details in article titled ” Islam Ideology “ published @ the 3rd issue of a free PDF magazine called “I-MAG“
You can reach it by clicking on the banner @ the lower part of the main page
Jazak ALLAH kol khair for your words, and for everything

Well, it’s the tawfiq of Allah ( swt ) that make you find my little website.
Anyway, I agree with your words about that we must show people the real Islam, but this is not only through words but also “the acts” and I highlight on acts because the problem of Islam today = wrong acts from Muslims
Anyway
If you know anyone who’s looking forward to know more about Islam, well my site is just a very small place to write my own thoughts, so I highly recommend that you tell your friends about I-MAG
It’s a Free PDF magazine talking about Islam in its wide vision, and it’s for free
You’ll find the link for it to the right of the main page under “Friends” or you can click on the banner at the bottom of the main page just before(Copyright (c) 2005 Hicham MAGED)
Jazak ALLAH kol khair again

ensha2 allah brother hicham i will do so,, as i recently tried to convince alot of non-muslims with islam,, so i think i-mag magzine will be so benitiful,,
and as u said,, muslim acts are really the reason for giving the world this image about islam,,sometimes i think i will go mad,, from muslims,, they pray,, then they forgot why they pray,,they make worship to allah is a habbit and not a way to learn how to be a life maker and howto deal with others wisdomly,,

Well I totally agree with you that the majority of Muslims forget the real meaning of Praying + Worshiping as it became a habit
The idea that worshiping – if it was really right, we must see the reflection of it via how do you deal with people or in Arabic ” ta3amoulat “
Which means If I pray and fast right, then I must deal with people ( Muslim & Non ) in a good way because that what Islam call people to do.
Anyway: Rabena yehdina as you said
