Classic MS-DOS Games are back
Assalam Alaikum wa rahmat Allah.
Peace be upon you dear visitor.
In the previous post, I told you reason why PC Old Days are coming back again but there is a second one introduced into this blog entry as people like me who are currently in their late 20s and above used to play fascinating games 10-15 years ago over personal computers.
These few nice and classic MS-DOS games were on top lists of the favorite games among many people worldwide. Indeed, in terms of hardware and software specs, those games are considered nothing to today’s virtual reality games; however they still have some special taste for me.
It is not only about playing these games that give me that special taste, but also it is nice to read the “ordering info” for these games to find that anyone back in those old days have to make a choice to receive his (and her) copy after purchasing either an 3.5″ or 5.25″ diskette where the capacity varies among 720KB to 1.44MB per disk!

DOSBox: play classic MS-DOS games on your modern machine!
Download Classic MS-DOS Games
Nowadays on the Internet, you still can find sites that are archiving these games with complete information about in addition to providing links for downloading.
Hereby, I shall list bellow two handy on-line resources where you can download classic MS-DOS games and play them, but notice the licensee for the games whether as “freeware”, “shareware” or “demo.”
Note: You can find more information and resources while checking the “Links” section in both websites. On the other hand, you can play classic MS-DOS games under Windows 2000/XP and later; however it is a better idea to use DOS Emulator program that simulates real DOS environment under windows in order to make games run better and I prefer “DOSBox” which is a cross-platform DOS Emulator program.
