Amr Khaled’s Ala Khota Al-Habib
Assalam Alaikum wa rahmat Allah.
Peace be upon you dear visitor.

Amr Khaled: Ala Khota Al-Habib
Dear Arabs and Muslims, Eid Mubarak for you and your families everywhere. Today is the 3rd day of Eid ul-Fitr which is an Islamic holiday that follows the end of Ramadan where Muslims celebrates this holiday for 3 days.
Now, Ramadan left us and so do Amr Khaled’s program “Ala Khotoa Al-Habib.” As I early expected in Amr Khaled follows the Steps of Al-Habib, Khaled presented the program in outstanding way from the technical point of view plus the rich contents:
- Indoor shooting location: only 200m away from Prophet Muhammad’s Mosque in the city of Medina.
- Outdoor shooting locations: where some events had happened in Prophet Muhamad’s life, like Al-Hijrah.
The program presented Al-Seerah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from birth to death at the age of 63 years old. During the journey, Khaled highlighted on the basic Islamic faith and beliefs that Muslims are called to follow in their life plus the basic Islamic etiquettes in many issues like: “War”, “Jihad”, “Women Rights”, “Relation with other Non-Muslims”, etc.
This program simply tell us what I have already mentioned before that Islam encourages urbanizing Earth which is a basic fact is for those who understand Islamic faith well and hence this great religion came to offer humanity the light as it did in the past when the Islamic civilization (8th – 15th centuries) was revealing as source of light during medieval civilization and after by the foundation for the current Western civilization.
Nevertheless, the misconceptions about Islam and Muslims are still dominating and I wonder when they will fade away? It is important nowadays in the 21st century to seek a better way for understand what Islam is and Muslims are in order to reach cooperation between Muslims and Non-Muslims.
I do believe that they can cooperate, not to struggle with each other, as this struggle or collision means that communication between is not in a good state. Hence, instead of the scary movie of the 21st century that is running nowadays, I am looking forward to seeing good progress in this issue in the near future as our world need this and we need to bypass the misconceptions and stereotyping for a better future.
Finally, The whole presentation is what I expected from Amr Khaled as one of the Muslim Intellectuals from my point of view. Moreover, if you want to read more about this meaning, I have elaborated within the article entitled “The Others, Who Hate Who?” which is published in the 5th issue of I-MAG Magazine, and as I usually say: you can always download them for free in PDF format!
Salam,
Hicham
