A New Look for the Blog

Hello Everybody
As you might see, I had applied a “new look” for my blog 
I don’t complain from Bloogger’s templates collection; however I didn’t feel that they are matching with me, as you know everyone has his/here own style.
In the past few days, I’d “googled” the internet to find new templates until I found this template which I’m currently using, however I’d applied some modifications to it to make it more close to me.
Okay, If you are interested to know how did I make thins, I shall highlight on some issues to be as small guide for any blogger who wants to know more about the whole process.

A. Blog Templates
If you are looking for new templates, I suggest the following 2 sites, where you can visit them, and from them you’ll find links to other websites, and so on.

B. Syndication
Syndication is a process of generating a feed for contents of any page found on any website, in order to make it available for reading on what so called “News Aggregators”. It’s mainly based on two popular formats: Atom + RSS.
Wherever you find this icon [

] you’ll know that this site is providing a feed/syndication service for its contents
Blogger service is providing an atom syndication ( .xml ) for all blogs by default, you can reach it by placing atom.xml after your blog’s url [ yourblogurl.blogspot.com/atom.xml ]
However, if you want to have an RSS syndication ( .rss ), blogger suggests ( FeedBurner ). I make one for free and it’s great as you’ll find it under syndication section on the right sidebar.

C. Publicizing
After by, you can subscribe in “web-based readers” which make anyone read your blog whenever it’s updated. It’s great, free and based on the syndication services and more customised with the ( .rss ) feed generated via FeedBurner
Don’t worry, it’s all web-based, so there’s no program to download, and hence no SPAM

D. Blog Listing
Another free service where you can list your blog within special directories which deal with blogs listing only. This one is based on the syndication of your blog, so when you register your blog there in any catalogue, you can use the default atom feed ( .xml ) or the ( .rss ) feed generated by ( FeedBurner )

NB: as the internet is an open community, those catalogues might contain some blogs with adult content, which something I’m not happy with for sure, so parents who may use this service must take care, and anybody should take care of such contents not only parents.
